You Are Immeasurable: Shadow Work & Spiritual Healing for BIPOC Women & Entrepreneurs
Sunday Sparks | Who Told You To Be Ashamed?
In this Sunday Spark, I reclaim Eve’s story and reveal how shame has been one of supremacy’s sharpest weapons to silence women, sever us from our power, and keep us small.
Who told you to be ashamed? Ashamed of your body. Ashamed of your voice. Ashamed of your desire.
That shame didn’t start with you. It was handed to you packaged in stories, scriptures, and systems. One of the earliest is the story of Eve.
✨ In this episode, you’ll hear:
- How the story of Eve branded generations of women with shame
- Why shame is not yours to carry — but a lie designed to cut you off from your power
- A reminder that you are not “too much,” you are divine
🔥 Want to go deeper?
On September 22nd at 6 pm EST, the Autumn Equinox, I’m hosting a free masterclass: Eve, the Serpent & the Wound of Supremacy.

Welcome back to Sunday Sparks your quick burst of Revelation, reclamation, truth and fire for yourself.
I'm Tonesha Hyde, and today we're gonna strike at the root of something most of us carry, but rarely questioned. So my question for you is, who told you to be ashamed? Ashamed of your body? Ashamed of your voice, ashamed of your desire?
And I wanna let you know that that shame didn't start with you. It was handed to, it was packaged in stories, scriptures and systems. One of the earliest stories that carried it was the story of Eve. Eve desired knowledge. Eve used her voice and Eve made a choice. And for that, the story that we've all been told, that we've all heard, branded both her and every woman after her with the mark of shame. But let's tell the [00:01:00] truth. Shame is one of supremacy sharpest weapons because if you are ashamed, you'll silence yourself. You'll shrink. You'll believe that you are wrong just for being who you are.
And catch this spark, the shame was never yours to carry. It was a lie designed to sever you from your power. So the next time you hear that, whisper saying your too much. You're doing too much. You're being too much. You're too loud, you're too sensual, you're too bold. Ask yourself, who told me to be ashamed because it wasn't the divine.
this is your Sunday spark for today, and if this lit something in you, I want you to share it. Share it with a sister, share it with a friend, share it with anyone who also needs this reminder.
And if you're ready to dive deeper, this autumn Equinox, I'm opening the doors of the temple for a free masterclass. on September the 22nd of this year, 2025 at 6:00 PM Eastern Standard time. And the masterclass is called Eve the Serpent and the Wound of Supremacy.
We'll gather together and we'll unravel the lies, reclaim the wisdom, and ignite the fire that supremacy tried to bury.
You can register now. The link is in the show notes and I can't wait to see you there. Until next time. Keep your fire burning and remember that you are immeasurable.
